Should You Change Your Name Spelling? What Akanshha Joshii Checks First
Not everyone needs to. Akanshha Joshii does not recommend a spelling change without a complete analysis. If your name is already favourable and the new spelling does not improve the overall combination, she says no.

| Your situation | What Akanshha Joshii does |
|---|---|
| You want a new spelling just to reach one number | No change without a complete analysis |
| Your name is favourable and the new spelling adds nothing | Clearly says no |
| Your Aadhaar, Instagram and everyday names differ | Starts with the official name, then compares all three |
| You are changing your surname after marriage | Calculates the new full name, then advises on the better combination |
| You have changed spelling 2-3 times already | Does a fresh analysis, and avoids an unnecessary correction |
What she checks before saying yes or no
A favourable name total is not enough. She also looks at the first name, surname, missing numbers, Mulank, Bhagyank and the complete Lo Shu Grid.
"My objective is not just to get a name changed. It is to select the right name." Akanshha Joshii
Which name counts if you use three different ones?
She first checks your complete official name, as it appears on your important documents. Then she looks at your everyday name and your professional or social media name, because each can carry a different vibration. If you use a different name on Instagram and people know you by it at work too, that name cannot be ignored. She compares all three to see which fits your overall numerology profile better.
Should you change your surname after marriage?
Changing it is not compulsory. It is a completely personal choice. In numerology, though, a new surname changes the vibration of the complete name. For a woman changing her surname, Akanshha does a Chaldean calculation of the new full name, then looks at the first name, new surname, name total, Mulank, Bhagyank and Lo Shu Grid. If the old surname gives the better combination, she advises keeping it. If the new one is favourable, you can consider adopting it.
If you have already changed your spelling
She looks at your current and earlier spellings, and at how the earlier correction was worked out: was it a complete analysis, or only the name total? She does not automatically call another numerologist's spelling wrong. She does a fresh analysis, and if your current spelling already suits you, she does not recommend another correction.
"Changing the spelling again and again is not a solution. It matters more to do one proper analysis and finalise a well-thought-out name." Akanshha Joshii
